Doodles

I am working on two artist posts that will be ready in a couple of weeks.
The first one is an artist that is a great favorite of mine, who does phenomenal Halloween figures. Do you love the timing?
In the meantime I am posting a few of my own creations. These I do for fun and rest from some of the more complicated pieces.

Siggi, he refuses to leave home

Fere Elves, they are like Siggi, so they live here

Benedikt, he lives in Hungary

Mo'a sorry my previous post must have disappeared! I just mentioned that your art is so unique - a little bit of you is in each one of them. I can see the expressions have your special touch - and I love the elves the best.

You never cease to amaze me my dearest Móa!!! Your work is beyond beautiful and leaves me breathless! BREATHLESS I TELL YOU!

I am in awe of you...

Interesting tidbit... my father was here for some days, ack, and told me his brother, my uncle, is a good friend of Farishchian's! That was so exciting to hear and I thought you might like that!

Oh do I love these guys! I thought of you recently mo'a because my daughter pleaded to stay for an after school program once a week which entails my driving into Manhattan to pick her up. I agreed because it is a class called Clay Club and is working with of course, clay. I can never say no to artistic endeavors.

Are these little guys clay? I am hard pressed to pick a favorite - Benedikt looks so benevolent and the elves are adorable, but Siggi well he just may be the one.

Love them. Now the only danger is that when Neva and I finally get our acts and schedules together and visit, you may not get rid of us!

Can't wait for your updates - I am enjoying this immensely.

Terry: One of the things every artist want's to hear is that his/her personality is visible in their art.....thank you :)
MizBohemia: Thank you again my dear, I think my head is swelling at this very moment....you and my true blog friends are so good at stroking my ego.
Wow!!that is exciting, Farishchian is an amazing artist....I am so glad you introduced him to me.

g: It is good to hear that your Daughter is going to a Clay Club class, we need more sculptors :) I hope she will enjoy it.
These little elves are made from polymer clay which bakes in a regular oven.....i use it on occasion for my little people.
