Gifts
Don’t you just love gifts?
On Saturday Nessa of “The Chrysalis Stage” aka “Goldennib” came over to my house for a visit.
We had a lovely time talking, drinking coffee and nibbling on some cookies. We also took a tour of my Studio. It was a wonderful time, we talked like we had known each other for ever.
Nessa brought me this gift for my studio...the fragrance is Lavender and Mint...my studio smells wonderful.
The other day Ken took my parents to an Oriental Supermarket in our area and came back with this lovely Gingko leaf, that he found in their parking lot...don’t you just love the shape...and the color...Oh! my. This gift more than any shows me just how well he knows me...I like that!!!
This afternoon Ken brought me three pots of Michaelmas Daisies. They remind me that Summer is leaving and that Autumn will be soon strutting her colors.
Guess who is coming to see his Afi (Ken) and Amma (Me :))? He is bringing his lovely Parents, who brought this most precious gift of all, into the world.

Your fella sounds a lot like mine. I am glad your special guy treats you so well. And how exciting and wonderful that your wee grand is coming for a visit! Your home will be bubbling over with joy when the baby visits (and his parents, of course- funny how a grand overshadows everyone else-LOL).
Mo'a, I had such a wonderful time at your house.
Have you bought any more clothes for your new fellow?
Ginko trees are my absolute favorites... fun shape, prehistoric trees, and nice color in the late summer/fall. How fun- another blogger meeting!
Now, the best is yet to come with little grandbaby coming over from the other side of the world. Oooh, I'm so happy for you! He must be the most spoiled baby ever.
Sounds like you have special friends in your life, people who know you and love you.
Beautiful flowers, too. I noticed that the mums have arrived at the local supermarkets. They always seem to announce that Autumn will soon be arriving in our state. I think I'll pick up a few mums when I return from our trip.
And that baby is soooo sweet! You lucky Amma!
Oh it sounds like you and Nessa had a fabulous time indeed! I am happy you got to meet.
And is it not sweet how the smallest, most "insignificant" of details are the ones that mean the most? Loverboy has done many such things over the years and the beauty of the gesture always lies in the simplicity and in the intimacy that it generates... fabulous indeed and you are both lucky and blessed to have each other FO SHO!
And your sweet little man is looking so beautiful! I bet you are already counting the days! Congratulate the proud parents from me and enjoy him away!
Besos to you my dearest LovaMóa!
These are such lovely gifts, especially that sweet boy! I know he is going to love being at his Amma's... Such beauty Mo'a... thank you for this git to us all!
Linda: We sure are lucky to have Husbands that understand us.

Nessa: It was such great fun...I have gone on to books now and other things baby needs.
Terry: I also love the Gingko trees...they are so sturdy that NYC has uses them as street trees.
I am so excited they arrive today from Denmark via Germany...spoiling is our job as Grandparents :) and he is lucky to have so many Grandparents.
Susanna: Yes, I am very lucky to have good Friends and Family.
It is great fun to add the Mums to the garden this time of year...I am thinking of you and what a wonderful time you must be having.
I am a lucky Amma :)
MizBohemia: We sure did...it is such fun to meet fellow bloggers.
I agree with you....it is the small gestures that mean the most.
I will give Brian and Mette you message and I will give Victor a beso from you :)
Lea: I am blessed...he is next to the best gift I have ever had...next to his Dad.
It is my pleasure to be able to share with my blog friends.
Sounds like you and Nessa had a fun time. It's so nice to have a friend to share things with.
He's a cutie. Love spoiling them. I'm going to Texas this morning to see our new grandson Ethan Lee Bounds. He was born on Aug. 14th. Can't wait to cuddle him.
What amazing gifts. Especially the little bundle of joy! I like your Gingko leaf, my Mom tells me the Gingko tree is the oldest known tree.
Have fun with your little darlin'!

Let no harm come to the gingko leaf. Trust me. Ain't enough lavendar in the world.
Good for you and Nessa. I know firsthand what a lovely hostess you are so I know the wonderful time you must have had (and am only slightly jealous. Nessa didn't sit in Paloma, did she? :) So nice to gather, isn't it?
That leaf is beautiful - Ken's a keeper. And look at that beautiful boy! What joy he brings. Have a wonderful visit.
Doug: I know, and I will keep it safe.
G: To tell you the truth she did not even see Paloma...too hot.
Now, do you feel better? :)
Nessa: I am not good at games...but I will check it out :)
Babies; flowers, friends, art...life is good, and i don't beleive it gets any better than that!
When do we get to see new pics of your grandson from his recent visit? Is he still here?
Corey: My favorite things...and yes indeed life is good.
Nessa: Soon...He is still here, leaving on Saturday :( But I will see them in Italy in a month :)
Lucky you to have all the good things in life Mo'a. Good friends, loving family, abounding beauty and the promise of immortality through the grandchildren. One could not ask for more.
I was so interested in the gingko leaf. I've never seen them. We don't have them here. They're beautiful.
(My delightful granddaughter's name is Nessa. Unusual name.)
Sherry: What a lovely way you counted my blessings...you have such a great way with words.
That is interesting no Gingkos in your area...I wonder why.
We have a lot of Gingko trees in our area...they are very strong and are often street trees.
I will send you some Gingko leaves...e-mail me your address.
Nessa is a beautiful name just as beautiful as Nessa herself.
Gifts in all shapes and sizes are wonderful. The fact that can thinks of you when walking soemwhere, teh cup of coffee with a friend and the smile of a baby...your grandson...it doens't get much better, does it?
Beautiful!
I keep coming by to see if you have a new post...I hope everything is okay with you?
