Giljagaur.....Gully-gawk
Giljagaur........... Gully-gawk arrives today. He is a handsome and most happy fellow. He has passion for the froth that forms on the warm milk as it comes from the cow. He sneaks into the barn and while the milk maid is not looking, Giljagaur dips his finger into the milk pail and licks the froth off his finger. Giljagaur, was lucky today.
Some time ago some of the ladies in my knitting group at The Knitting Room in Medford, NJ asked me to make a Santa that could go on a felted bag or a coat lapel. Here are some of the Santas that I made.
Back in April I made lady and baby faces for the Knitting Room. They were well received and many of the ladies in the knitting group own them.

Tonight, your curmudgeon friend plays Santa. I think I need one of your masks.
Doug: I always knew there was a Santa behind that curmudgeon mask.
Hi Mo'a.
It is so wonderful to watch the Christams lads in felt. You make them so real, very Icelandic.
It is snowing in Reykjavik now. Dense, heavy, wet flakes which come floating down and cover everything in no time.
It has been quite time consuming to get settled in Iceland again.
I have not been true to my artistic side. Terrible. But I will get going soon.
Take care Mo'a and happy advent.
Erla

I love your felt figure. So beautifully done and the face is amazing so full of expressions. Love your little painted faces too. I am sure everyone in your club was delighted in having them.
