How Do Others See Us?

In MizBohemia’s latest post, she honored five of her blog friends, by showing paintings by her favorite artist Farschian and how the chosen painting describes each of the blog friends, that she honored in her post.
This got me thinking about, whether we ever see ourselves the way others see us. About me she said complex, colorful, complete, lovely, am I all that? I wonder and wish at the same time, that it is so. Complex.......my life has been complex, but am I? Colorful......there are times when I find myself exceedingly dull and gray......what does she see, that I don’t? Am I complete?.....sometimes I feel as incomplete, as I was when I was at eight years old. Lovely?...... I hope that I am and that I will always be. Being lovely, is to me, being kind in words and deed.
Do we as bloggers reveal this much about ourselves in our writing? Do people we meet on an everyday basis see us the same way? Would we be described the same way by the people that are important to us, a Lover, Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, our Children and our Friends?
Thank you my dear MizBohemia for including me in your post.

Hi! I find it unpolite to read your blog without saying hallo, like visiting people in their home, without letting them know. So, in future I will always say "hi" when I look by, even though I have no time or thoughts to comment further. OK?
But this is a very interesting point: how do others see us ? I will give it some thought:)
Have a nice day:)

Complex, colorful, complete, lovely year-round with endless stories to tell and many mysteries to be discovered...

Perhaps I should elaborate! :-) Complex... just when we think we may know you, you surprise us with interesting facts about you, with anecdotes we might have never guessed, with opinions that show this amazing inner strength and compassionate as well as passionate conviction you have...

Colorful... well my dearest LovaMo'a, if you are complex and an amazing, amazing artist at that you cannot NOT be colorful! ;-)

...lovely year-round with endless stories to tell and many mysteries to be discovered... who can argue with that? You are an amazing woman, always and in addition to that the phrase "year-round" reminded of the fact that you have themes for the specific time of year with regards to your art and that ties in well to you too and the colorful life youhave led renders you with many stories to be told and since hey, we just get spurts of you here in blogland then there are still many mysteries to be discovered...

Hope I convinced you that you are all these things and so, so, so much more!!!

So yes, I think some bloggers are able to reveal much about themselves. There is much to be told about a person from their writing style, the content of their stories, the comments they leave and their actions...

And you my dear LovaMo'a are fabulous and have a house full of bohemians here in Spain who just love you! Thank you for you and for your sweet friendship!

knowing (as i do) that our dear Miz BoheMia is as insightful as she is lovely, i have no doubt her perceptions of you are right on the money.

a "dull and gray" person could never create the whimsical/intriguing/wonderous things you do... nor could that person express herself in such an eloquent fashion.

are you complete? are any of us? let's hope not! i prefer to think we are all works in progress--i believe my horizons are expanded each, and every day--and from what i see here, yours are, too!

hope you have a fabulous day! : D

I think your blog is fabulous, and gives insight into the art which you produce so easily! I doubt that we would all be described the same way by all of our loved ones... but I do know that what we put in our blogs does indeed say much about what we think and feel, whether we try to be discreet or not.

... exceedingly dull and gray

Many times I feel exactly that. I can only hope others can see more than I can at times... they still love me!

Good post Mo'a

Terry: Thank you :) and the more I think about it,we do reveal a lot about ourselves on the blogs.
And we are probably harder on ourselves, than the people in our lives......that is a good thing, I think.

This is an interesting question to which I will say a resounding 'yes'. You can learn a lot about people from their blogs. Some are very forthcoming, some are more reticent. My intuition vibrates in harmony or disharmony as a visit new blogs and meet new people. Even through the relatively sterile environment of cyber space I find it easy to 'feel' and 'see' the people in the blogsphere.

I think if you don't let people see you, they can't know you and then you miss out on potential new friendships.

kyahgirl: Very well said. The more I think about it and the more I read in the blogsphere, the more I agree with you and the other commenters here.
