Autumn Photos

This is my favorite time of year, I love the other seasons also, but in the Autumn nature displays my favorite colors. I also like to hear the crunch of leaves, as I walk through them.
I am preparing other Artist Features and will post them soon. So for the time being here are some lovely Autumn in New Jersey photos.

Log Cabin in Medford Lakes, NJ

From our Japanese Style Garden

A statue by the Library in Medford. I wish I could tell you who the sculptor is, however, there is no credit on or near the statue. The Library is closed today, I will call them on Monday to find out who the sculptor is.

I found out from the Library, that the name of the sculptor is Guy Schover. He gave the scupture in memory of his Father. He lives in Maryland.
I tried to find out more about him on the web but could not find a thing....I hope I have spelled his name right. I will do more study and keep you posted.

oooh! i'm in complete agreement with Terry! that cabin is fabulous! so glad to see you guys were able to enjoy the lovely colors of fall -- our favorite season was kind of a "bust" in CT this year (too warm last winter, i suppose) fortunatley a few of the trees managed to pop with flashes of brilliant reds and yellows before the winds blew the leaves off their branches -- so we had a little something, for a minute or two.

and i hope you do find out who sculpted that piece... i lovelovelove it!

thank you for sharing such wonderful sites, dear Mo'a! hopefully you'll be able to get out and crunch around in those leaves before tomorrow's (Sunday) rain turns 'em all into mush! xoxo

A cousin of mine lives in Medford, and my nephew lives in Medford Lakes. His wife's family lives in a house by one of the lakes. We absolutely love visiting with them, and wish we could do it more often. Beautiful neighborhood you've got there, M'oa! Made more beautiful, as we can see, by your living there.

What beautiful pictures and what a beautiful place my dearest LovaMóa! It makes sense that you live there... much appeal and inspiration for your artistic sensibilites I see!

I could just sit in a spot for hours and get lost in those colors! And the statue is fabulous! What a funky thing to have outside a library! Although if you ask me, they should have something made by you there instead!

Hmph!

:-)

Mo'a: So much nicer on your side of the road. I love your neighborhood tour and that is a beautiful garden you have there - love the maple with the sculpture. Can't wait to see it in person which I'm thinking at this rate, may be after December when things settle down for you (and when we can bring Neva too).

By the way, Tali did a post and when she googled for an image to go with it, she came up with "Gryla chasing children". I thought of you and Monika immediately! :)
