For the Senses

This week for my Artist Date I stayed here in Medford, NJ. After delivering the faces, see previous post, to the Knitting Room. I walked across the street to another favorite store For the Senses.
For the Senses specializes in Modern Fragrances, Antique Perfume Bottles, Candles and Gifts.
This store is one of the most Girly Girl stores I have ever been into.
Here are some photos to tickle your senses.

In this photo are some large bottles, that were used for perfume counter display.

Don’t you just love this cabinet?

Everywhere you look there are lovely vignettes.

I love these teas, the bags are pyramid shaped. I drink a lot of tea. I think I need a teacup that is as large as the one in this photo.

Oooooooh! I want to GO there! What a beautiful place! And I agree - very MUCH a girly-girl shop! I am fascinated by those tea bags! Like you, I'm a tea drinker, but have NEVER before seen pyramid-shaped bags! Thanks for sharing this. I got to 'go shopping' and didn't spend a CENT! LOL!

I could have spent a lifetime in there with you! You made me think of a time, I think I was about 5 or 6 and I loved perfume and bottles (still do, only some scents make my head hurt). So, I remember being at the drug store/pharmacy, and in the toiletries section, there was this display with the hugest bottle of Jean Nate you have ever seen. And, boy did I want that bottle...As for the cup, I think I have to make you one? I think so!!! Also, I have to say, I have been sick so I have not had the chance to tell you how much I adored to shoe link you supplied!! OH my!! If only they weren't so costly....Although, I have been known to go over the edge.. They were unreal, worth every penny!!!xxo,Vanessa

I worked for Coty years ago...some time ago my Mother found an Emeraude display bottle, that I have in my hot little hands right now...you make me a big cup with a lid and I will send you the bottle and maybe some little something I made. I would Loooooove to have a Vanessa creation...Wow!!!
I know the shoes sites I sent you are..."just dreaming" sites for most of us :)

Though no place for a mule, I must say I love those teas that come in that triangle-ish package.

Very cool faces by the way.

What a wonderful place for an Artist's Date. Wow, there's a party going on here that I missed Mo'a! More places for me to visit when I'm in the neighborhood.

The shop is very lovely. Would be a nice place to shop. You like Perfume bottles? I do too. My husband and I own a Perfume shop, it's not as lovely as the one on your blog. Some of the perfume bottles are so lovely. Of course I have lots of bottles here at home. LOL
Love & Hugs
